Here's a quick primer on how our process works (don't worry, it's painless!)

So, just how the heck are we able to work on your PC and not be there?  Definitely a good question.  Frankly, this stuff amazes us, too - but here's the jist of it.  It really is a simple, secure process (more on that later)

  • You call us or send us an email with a description of your problem (the more details the better)

  • Our friendly staff will help you work out a time that is good for you - we'll also work together to determine the tier of service best suited for your issue.

  • At the time / date you've decided, we'll contact you while you're in front of your PC and walk you through a simple 5 minute process to establish a remote connection to your computer.

  • You can walk away or watch us work - its up to you!

  • Once we're done, we'll provide you a quick summary of the services performed and some general tips to ensure your PC stays safe.

Your security and discretion are our NUMBER ONE Priority!

We know that having someone work on your PC can be an uncomfortable experience.  You've got legitimate concerns about your privacy, securit, and data integrity..  We'll always do our best to alleviate any fears / direct concerns you may have.  Here's a quick summary of what we do to ensure that your privacy remains just that, private.

  • We use a 2048 bit encrypted session to connect to your home / office PC - we won't get real technical here except to say the Sun will probably burn out before someone were able to crack the encryption key.

  • Any passwords you provide to us (for unattended reboots) are never written down - they are stored in a form for one-time-use and never seen again by any of our technicians.

  • Your discretion is assured.  We will not browse your files / data any more than necessary to perform our services.  No one here has any interest other than resolving your computer issues in a fast, friendly way.

  • Once we terminate the remote session, we can NOT reconnect without your explicit permission.  Nor can anyone else.  Once we're off, we're off.

  • We will make certain to alert you to any anomalous software already on your PC (Keyloggers, spy software, malicious website redirects) - really, anything that has the potential to cause you data security issues.  We will also, of course, remove the offending application(s) and make you aware of any potential breaches we've discovered.
